tv or <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ••'~'or'i~.Y <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 334 07 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br /> A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, the Envision Downtown Hilo 2025 (EDH 2025) Community-Based <br /> Vision and Living Action Plan was developed through a grassroots effort in order to create a <br /> unified vision for the future of Downtown Hilo; and <br /> WHEREAS, Phase II, implementation of the plan, called for the creation of a new <br /> volunteer committee called the VisionKeepers to keep the plan alive, visible, and off the <br /> shelf; and <br /> WHEREAS, the VisionKeepers have developed a support network with Lead <br /> Solution Partners (e.g., County government, community organizations, etc.) who have <br /> committed to helping with implementing the plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, other Council districts working on their Community Development Plans, <br /> or have yet to start, can benefit from the lessons learned from the development of the EDH <br /> 2025 Plan and its implementation process; and <br /> WHEREAS, discretionary funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the <br /> Planning Department and used to support the EDH 2025 VisionKeepers effort to continue <br /> their role in guiding the implementation process and promoting the EDH 2025 Plan; including <br /> implementing "Easy Wins", building leadership capacity of VisionKeepers, working <br /> with/training Lead Solution Partners, and organizing the next Town Meeting; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Director is in concurrence with this transfer; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> <br />
