Because I was born and raised in Kalia, Waikiki, and I <br /> have seen the conbsequences there and in Waianae, I believe a development of this sort would be an ecological <br /> and economic disaster. Please help Punaluu stay in conservation/preservation and education. Ka'u does not <br /> need large developments for economic growth. Small scale sustainable agriculture and other ecologically <br /> sensitive development can support local self-sufficiency to create a healthy economy. Please don't let Punalu'u's <br /> habitat be forever destroyed by another corporate enterprise.
