with Common Area Maintenance and applicable taxes subject to yearly adjustments for any <br /> increase or decrease of those costs; and <br /> WHEREAS, for both leases, as of December 1, 2011, the base rent shall increase by the <br /> sum of the past two (2) years Consumer Price Index (Hawai`i Sector) or replacement standard <br /> with Common Area Maintenance and applicable taxes subject to yearly adjustments for any <br /> increase or decrease of those costs; and <br /> WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds budgeted in the current fiscal year to cover the <br /> anticipated obligations of the county under the lease agreements; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into the multi-year lease agreements <br /> for office space for the Elections Division of the Office of the County Clerk. <br /> 2.
