,~1~?r or <br /> Q~ l <br /> ' ~4 <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 375 07 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br /> A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, the Family Support Services Of West Hawaii, West Hawaii <br /> Fatherhood Initiative have requested funds to conduct the He Makuakane Maika`i `O Hawaii <br /> -Father Mentors program; and <br /> WHEREAS, this project sends a powerful message to men that fatherhood is man's <br /> greatest calling and the community supports men in becoming more deeply involved with <br /> their children; and <br /> WHEREAS, the program provides direct support to fathers through home visiting, <br /> weekly classes, social gatherings, mentoring, family strengthening events and an annual <br /> conference; and <br /> WHEREAS, the He Makuakane Maika`i `O Hawaii -Father Mentors program drug <br /> and alcohol free event that is an on-going support program, which attendance includes <br /> approximately 200 adults and 500 children; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to <br /> the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney to be used toward the He Makuakane Maika`i `O <br /> Hawaii -Father Mentors program; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $5,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $5,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.271.5271.14 Office of the Prosecuting Attorney $5,000 <br /> Kona Prosecuting Attorney OCE <br /> (He Makuakane Maika`i `O Hawaii) <br /> <br />
