~tV O! h <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> • <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3~7 O~ <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPOPRIATION OUT <br /> <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii Island Veterans Memorial, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non- <br /> <br /> profit organization consisting of veterans organizations representing a broad spectrum of the <br /> Hawaii County community; and <br /> WHEREAS, to honor all veterans in Hawaii County, the Hawaii Island Veterans <br /> Memorial, Inc. is sponsoring a Veterans Memorial Parade in Hilo, Hawaii, on November 10, <br /> 2007; and <br /> WHEREAS, participants in the event will consist of veterans organizations and <br /> individuals from Hawaii County representing various branches of the United States Armed <br /> Forces who bravely served our country; and <br /> WHEREAS, financial assistance has been requested by the Hawaii Island Veterans <br /> Memorial, Inc. for the November 10, 2007 Veterans Memorial parade, which funding request <br /> has been approved by the Department of Parks and Recreation; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 for $5,000 will be <br /> appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to provide financial assistance to <br /> Hawaii Island Veterans Memorial, Inc. for the ls` Annual Veterans Day Parade; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $5,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $5,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5517.02 Department of Parks and Recreation, $5,000 <br /> Culture & Arts OCE <br /> (ls` Annual Veterans Day Parade) <br /> <br />
