No. 330-07 <br /> <br /> PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa <br /> 78-128 `Ehukai Street <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 10:33 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 330-07, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 330-07, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 174 by Director of Finance <br /> <br /> William Takaba, via Communication No. 660, dated September 4, 2007, authorizes the receipt <br /> and expenditure of the Hilo Salvation Army awazd of $67,325 for the Pahoa Weed & Seed <br /> <br /> Program. <br /> The Hilo Salvation Army, through the State of Hawaii Attorney General's Office, has received <br /> $67,325 through the State Legislature designated for the Pahoa Weed and Seed program. The <br /> Hilo Salvation Army is awazding the above amount to the Hawaii County Police Depaztment for <br /> services related to enforcement in their Pahoa Weed and Seed proposal.
