MtY or y <br /> ~'`V~ <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ? h•u~•M~'+~ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 449 0'7 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, the People Out Supporting Hilo (POSH) was designed by the Big Island <br /> Resource Conservation & Development Council and Alice Moon & Company to assist in supporting <br /> <br /> four (4) of Hilo's largest community-based events and to promote Downtown Hilo as a fun, safe, and <br /> <br /> pleasant place for resident and visitor to live, work and play; and <br /> WHEREAS, the four (4) major projects that POSH supports in Downtown Hilo are: <br /> 1. the Annual Hilo Chinese New Year Festival; 2. the Annual He Launa Aloha No Ka Moi Kalakaua; <br /> 3. the Annual Hawaii s World Heritage Festival; and 4. the 7 Annual Black & White Night; and <br /> WHEREAS, the funds will also be used to develop POSH's promotional items and to assist <br /> the Hilo Downtown Improvement Association's marketing campaign to promote Downtown Hilo as <br /> the cultural capitol of Hawaii Island; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the <br /> Department of Research and Development to be used towards the People Out Supporting Hilo; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred and appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $20,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-CouncilSVC-Contingency Relief $20,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.161.5162.65 Department of Research and Development $20,000 <br /> New Industry & Ind.
