REQUEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> Request to amend Ordinance 07-83 Capital Improvement Budget, as amended by Ordinance 07-156, to <br /> increase County appropriation for the following project: <br /> Queen Lili'uokalani Village LCC Replacement (110.699.5696.10.115) - County from $850,000 to $900,000 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> <br /> A Project Data/Financial Impact Statement is attached. <br /> <br /> Additional funding of $50,000 is requested to complete the design of the on-site portion of the collection <br /> system for the Queen Lili'uokalani Village Subdivision. <br /> The additionally needed $50,000 is estimated as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) As the design of the on-site collection system approached the final stages, it was determined that <br /> additional topographic surveying became necessary to install sewer in accordance with the final <br /> Conceptual Plan. The plan is to connect the Queen Lili'uokalani Village Subdivision to the off-site sewer <br /> system which in turn will connect to the Kona Sewer system at Keanalehu St. - $30,000. <br /> <br /> 2) Contingency to cover possible additional design work as the project progresses. - $20,000 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> SIGNED: 4!
