REQUEST: <br /> <br /> Request to amend Ordinance 07-83 Capital Improvement Budget, as amended by Ordinance 07-152, to <br /> increase the appropriation for the following project: <br /> <br /> Komohana Heights LCC Replacement (110.699.5691.66.115) - County from $1,658,000 to $1,688,000. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> <br /> A Project Data/Financial Impact Statement is attached. <br /> Additional funding of $30,000 is requested to enable access to new sewer by the County within a newly <br /> acquired sewer easement via approved Resolution 398-07. The new easement was acquired to take <br /> advantage of the favorable topography which will reduce construction costs: <br /> <br /> 1) Design of a retaining wall along the newly acquired sewer easement to accommodate construction of <br /> gravel access roadway for maintenance purposes.
