o.,,,,~ <br /> 6;;~ <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> h Oi~M~ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 507 08 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, the Kona Adult Day Center, Inc. (KADC) is a private non-profit <br /> organization providing impaired adults, their families, and other caregivers with an alternative to <br /> premature institutionalization; and <br /> WHEREAS, KADC offers acommunity-based and comprehensive program providing a <br /> variety of social and related support services to a group of adult clients in a protected daytime <br /> setting; and <br /> WHEREAS, the geographic population served include the North and South Kona <br /> judicial districts; and <br /> WHEREAS, KADC provides services to adults who meet medical criteria such <br /> Alzheimer's disease or related demential disorders, physical disabilities, stroke or Parkinson's <br /> disease, mental challenge, or other stable chronic mental conditions; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to <br /> the Office of Aging to provide financial assistance to the Kona Adult Day Center, Inc. to be used <br /> for regular operational expenses; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $10,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $10,000 <br /> <br />
