Taro is a sacred plant for native Hawaiians.
More than that, plants in general are sacred to us all. Not only do I object to the development of GMO taro, but to
other crops as well.
That the USDA and FDA refuse to label GMO foods in the American food supply clearly indicates that the
American people are mere lab experiments in some kind of petri dish without their consent. GMO throws the
cycles of nature out of balance, affecting the insect world. Further, claims by biotech companies about their desire
to solve world hunger are suspect since it is the profit motive and creation of monopolies over the food supply that
seems to be the true motivator. Our creator gave us seeds and plants to nourish ourselves. Modifying these
precious creations is a violation of that sanctity.
Our "scientific discoveries" will doubtlessly create more problems than solutions.

NO GMO TARO. NO GMO period!
Sincerely yours,
Krisztina Samu

Start the year off right.
