,~~Y o~ <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> '~i;;•o~.N'.x <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 522 08 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> WHEREAS, there aze increasing numbers of hungry and homeless people in Hawaii <br /> County; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii Island Food Bank's mission is to prevent the waste of edible <br /> food by storing and coordinating member agencies to efficiently distribute and serve food to <br /> <br /> those in need; and <br /> WHEREAS the Food Basket Incorporated/Hawai`i Island Food Bank is a program of the <br /> Office for Social Ministry (OSM) of the Roman Catholic Church, and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit <br /> organization; and <br /> WHEREAS, funding will be distributed through the Food Basket Incorporated/Hawai`i <br /> Island Food Bank's distribution network that will support 35 West Hawaii agencies that feed the <br /> hungry and homeless; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to <br /> the Office of Housing and Community Development for the purpose of supplementing the <br /> supply of food to the Food Basket Incorporated/Hawai`i Island Food Bank; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> <br /> APPROPRIATION: $5,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $5,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.801.5801.32 Office of Housing and Community Development $5,000 <br /> Trans To Housing Fund <br /> (OSM-Hawaii Island Food Basket-152-461-5466.40-115) <br /> <br />
