(HIAC) for funding from the <br /> County of Hawaii. <br /> This agency has a proven track record for serving the frail elderly, physically or mentally <br /> challenged adults, and persons with Alzheimer's disease. For more than 21 years, their programs <br /> allow these special people to continue living at home or with family members, rather than being <br /> institutionalized. <br /> With the County's support, HIAC's non-profit programs, including the day care center, in-home <br /> chore services/respite (Senior Helpers) and caregiver support, can continue in our community. <br /> This essential funding would allow HIAC to proceed successfully in making a difference in the <br /> lives of the individuals and families they serve. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Nancy S.
