No. 488-08 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 10:20 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 488-08, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 488-08, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 220 by Director of Finance <br /> William Takaba, via Communication No. 927, dated January 7, 2008, authorizing the acceptance <br /> of a monetary donation of $68 to the Hawaii Fire Department donated by Edward J. and Jan S. <br /> Comstock. <br /> <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the <br /> <br /> County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property. <br /> A letter of appreciation will be sent to Mr. & Mrs. Edward J.
