This is permanent <br /> not temporary so we can do it right the first time. Basically it is: <br /> <br /> 1) use traffic signals instead of stop signs and activate them only during rush hours. <br /> <br /> 2) reduce the speed limit to 25 mph. This is still a well walked street and people have to be protected <br /> better. <br /> <br /> 3) If stop signs, put a 4-way in at the south entrance of Alii Lani. That will take care of Casa de <br /> Emdecko too and allow people to cross the street safely to get to the shops. <br /> <br /> If you only put in stop signs along Alii Drive, there will be no chance for people to exit from side streets as there is <br /> no traffic breaks.
