<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Aloha and Good Morning Men and Women of the Hawaii County Council, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 1 am Shiloah Watai, I live in the Kealakehe community where I attend Hualalai <br /> <br /> Academy as a Senior. I am speaking in support of Resolution and would <br /> <br /> like to testify that this Resolution, if passed, will not only ensure cleaner and <br /> <br /> <br /> welcoming beaches, but also the healthier lifestyles that we should have. We all <br /> <br /> know, through it's companies labels and facts, cigarettes aren't the healthiest choice <br /> <br /> we can make. A few years back, my father passed away due to cancer that started in <br /> <br /> <br /> the liver and spread throughout his body. He smoked all his life and although drinking <br /> <br /> didn't help, I'd say he could be proof that cigarettes are extremely harmful not just to <br /> <br /> your lungs. I am surrounded with smoke free family and friends and that motivates <br /> <br /> <br /> me to stay drug-free also. I support this Resolution because of the lives it could save <br /> <br /> and the lives it could better.
