REQUEST: <br /> <br /> Amend Ordinance 07-82, the Operating Budget, to appropriate funds that were transferred, by resolution, <br /> from the Council contingency relief funds to the Housing Fund. The bill is needed to appropriate the funds <br /> from the Housing fund to the proper expenditure account. <br /> <br /> <br /> $5,000.00 for the Feeding the Homeless/Hungry Program (Roman Catholic Church in the State of Hawaii dba <br /> Office for Social Ministry) - 152.461.5466.40-115 <br /> <br /> <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> <br /> Resolution 522-08, adopted on 2/06/08, transferred $5,000.00 out of the General Fund's Council District 7 <br /> Contingency Relief account to the Housing Fund. The OHCD now needs to amend Ord 07-82. This action <br /> will appropriate the funds into an account so the OHCD can contract and expend the funds to the OSM - <br /> Feeding the Homeless/Hungry Program. <br /> <br /> Since the Resolution was approved by the Council , the OHCD requests a waiver from Finance Committee <br /> and to have this bill heard at the next Council meeting scheduled for March 12, 2008. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> SIGNED: A~-~ DATE: <br /> Department Head <br />
