.~1„tv,or ~y` <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> "p,.N'+ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 560 0~ <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S). <br /> WHEREAS, a community outreach meeting was held in the village of Honomu, District <br /> of Hamakua, with the Hawaii Police Department; Department of Land and Natural Resources <br /> Law Enforcement Division; Hawaii Tourism Agency; Victims Against Crimes Agency, and <br /> Senator Lorraine Inouye; to allow residents of the area to share their concerns and visions of <br /> their community; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Honomu community has expressed deep concerns about the numerous <br /> thefts and break-in's that has been on-going and occuring at the `Akaka Falls State Park; and <br /> WHEREAS, the community came into agreement that a Honomu Neighborhood Watch <br /> Program be established and volunteers from the community will be working with the Hawaii <br /> Community Policing Division in partnership to organize this program; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to <br /> the Hawaii Police Department, to acquire equipment and supplies through the HPD Community <br /> Policing Division for the Honomu Neighborhood Watch Program; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $10,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $10,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.201.5203.02 Hawaii Police Department $10,000 <br /> Police Adm Div-OCE <br /> Admin-Educ-Recr Supplies <br /> (Honomu Neighborhood Watch Program) <br /> <br />
