This Executive Summary incorporates terms of the Best and Final Offer recently negotiated with Wheelabrator Technologies, Inc., and will be included in the final Service Contract. • Letter to Mark A. Weidman, President, Wheelabrator Technologies (3/4/08), notifying Wheelabrator that they have been awarded the contract, subject to County Council approval. • Notice of Award (3/4/08) • Waste Reduction Facility RFP #2210 report of major RFP activities to date. I would also like to take this opportunity to correct the letter transmitting the multi-year agreement to you on February 27, 2008. The letter references a multi-year lease. It should reference a multi-year contract instead. We are sorry for the error and confusion that it may have caused. Our consultants will be attending the meeting of the Finance Committee on March 11, 2008 to respond to questions you may have and discuss the contract in greater detail.
