No. l O11Bi11242 <br /> PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa <br /> 78-128 Ehukai St. <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 9:37 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works & Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred in <br /> Communication 1011, regarding Bi11242, reports as follows: <br /> Bill 242, transmitted by Council Member Dominic Yagong, via Communication No. 1011, dated <br /> February 7, 2008, amends Chapter 24, Article 11, Division 2, Section 24-308, Schedule 12, of the <br /> Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), by adding Old Sugar Mill Road and Old <br /> Railroad Way, in the Hamakua District, to Schedule 12, Relating to Through Streets. <br /> There was one testimony from the public supporting the proposed amendment. <br /> Council Member Dominic Yagong stated that adding Old Sugar Mill Road and Old Railroad Way, in <br /> the Hamakua District to Schedule 12 will provide the regulation and enforcement of the traffic code by <br /> our Hawaii Police Department.
