Mazkovich, to the County of Hawaii Public Access, Open Space and Natural Resources <br /> Preservation Commission. <br /> Ms. Markovich is a 35-year resident of Hawaii, is the owner of Teri's Custom Sewing, where she <br /> works as a seamstress/upholsterer. She is the secretary of the Ahualoa Community Association, and a <br /> board member of Recycle Hawaii. She states that she is not affiliated with any political party. If <br /> confirmed, Ms. Markovich will be replacing Kenneth Kaneshiro, whose term expired on <br /> December 31, 2007. <br /> Pursuant to Article XIV, Section 14-5, Hawaii County Charter, there shall be a boazd of ethics, <br /> consisting of five members who shall be residents of the County, appointed by the mayor with the <br /> approval of the council. <br /> Your Committee on Finance recommends the confirmation of Ms. Terri R.
