Mr. Takai is a lifelong resident <br /> of Hawai'i. He retired as a County of Hawai'i Real Property Tax Administrator in <br /> December 2007. <br /> <br /> Mr. Takai is currently a member of the Hilo Hongwangi Judo Booster Club, Waiakea <br /> Pirates Booster Club, and the Mauka Kaumana Kumiai. He states that he is not <br /> affiliated with any political party.
