BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> <br /> The Prosecuting Attorney's Office has been awarded $101,902 from two separate federal grant sources <br /> from the State of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General for the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault <br /> Prosecution Project. Through the budget process $75,000 was appropriated for this project under the <br /> Violence Against Women account.
