<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> To cco-Free <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> March 12, 2008 <br /> <br /> Aloha, <br /> Please accept the attached 487 signatures plus 100 letters in strong support of Bill 224. <br /> <br /> Signatures were collected at various community events by members of Tobacco-Free Big Island <br /> (TFBI) and Breathe Free of West Hawaii, two community coalitions made up of individuals, <br /> businesses and organizations working towards a healthier Hawaii Island. <br /> <br /> The 100 letters were collected at the Youth Relay for Life in Kealskehe on February 15, 2008. <br /> Some of the other events where signatures were gathered included, the September 2007 <br /> Hawaii County Fair at the Civic Fair Grounds in Hilo, a meeting of the Rotary Club of South Hilo, <br /> the American Heart Association's Heart Walk in Hilo, and other coalition events by its members. <br /> <br /> In addition, two other members, Faith Rossman and Takako Fujio, submitted an additional 200 <br /> signatures to the County Clerk.
