No. 1086/Bill No. 267 <br /> <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 10:43 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 267, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 267, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 1086, <br /> dated March 10, 2008, amends Ordinance No. 07-83, as amended, the Capital Budget, ending <br /> June 30, 2008, by adding the following project: <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT: <br /> Queen Lili`uokalani Village 110.599.5590.32 $400,000 <br /> Large Capacity Cesspool <br /> Funds for this appropriation increase shall be provided from: <br /> General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - $400,000 <br /> Fund Balance and/or Other Sources <br /> Additional funding is requested to install a portion of the Queen Lili`uokalani Village on-site <br /> sewer collection system along Palani Road. The installation will be performed in conjunction <br /> with the Palani Road Safety Improvements Project that is currently underway by the Department <br /> of Public Works. This project should eliminate future traffic disruption and public safety issues <br /> at the Polioholo intersection.
