Ms. Keawekane is a life-long resident of Hawai'i. <br /> <br /> Since 1991, she has been employed by Alu Like, Inc. as an island representative. <br /> Ms. Keawekane currently is a member of the Keaukaha Panaewa Farm Association and <br /> the Keaukaha Community Association. She is the president and head pastor of the <br /> Ka Uhane Hemolele O Ka Malamalama Church. <br /> <br /> Ms. Keawekane was a former member of the Transportation Commission whose term <br /> expired in December 2005. Ms. Keawekane states that she is a Democrat.
