So, please let the voters decide in November about the Article XI-Initiative <br /> and Referendum by your voting "Yes" on Bill 257, Draft 2. More changes to Draft 2 are not <br /> necessary. <br /> Donald, I realize you are probably already aware of this, but just to recap, some of the <br /> changes to Article XI are: <br /> 1. Uses the name, date of birth, and the last four digits of the social security number to <br /> verify signatures. <br /> 2. That the total of qualified signatures is 15% of the voters who voted in the last <br /> mayoral election. <br /> <br /> 3. The ballot question is written by the petitioners committee. <br /> 4. The petition circulaters need to sign a statement but not get the petitions notarized. <br /> <br /> 5. Defines when the measure becomes law. <br /> 6. The chronological order of the new amendment. <br /> <br /> 7. That a non-vote has no effect on the issue. <br /> 8.
