"I~he amendment is as fi~llows: <br />From: <br />3305.29 State Grants -Greetings Program General $75,000 <br />To: <br />010-161-5163.01 Greetings Program General $15.000 <br />The Department of Research and Development will be receiving funds from the State of <br />Hawaii, Hawaii Tourism Authority in support of the Counties' Erecting Program throughout <br />the State of Hawaii to address the increasing number of cruise ships calling at 1 lawai'i ports. <br />Pursuant to Section 46-1. Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Section 13-I i(b). I lawai'i County <br />Charter, the Mayor is hereby authorized to apply for, receive and expend the funds for the <br />program(s). <br />Some members of Your Committee were concerned over the funding allocations at I lilo Flarbor_ <br />Kailua Pier and Kona International Airport Ms. Mesta stated they are still in negotiation and will <br />notify Your Committee as soon as inl~irmation is received. <br />For informational purposes.
