The amendment is as follows: <br />I rom: <br />330,+?7 Federal Grantz State homeland General $599.400 <br />Sccurih Grant Program <br />I u: <br />01 U-241-5241.43 State homeland Security Grant Program General $599,400 <br />These funds tcom the State of I lawai'i Deparu7ient of Detense, State Civil Defense will be used for the <br />purchase of specialized equipment to enhance the capability of state and county agencies to prevent and <br />respond to incidents of terrorism invol~ ing the use of chemical, biological. radiological. nuclear or <br />explosive (CBRNI'.) weapons. It also provides for the protection of critical int}astructure and prevention <br />of terrorist incidents: for costs related to the design, development conduct and evaluation of CRRNF: <br />~I raining Program; and for costs associated with implementing each states I Iomeland Security Strategy. <br />Pm'suant to Section 46-7, I lawai'i Kevised Statutes, and Section 13-13(h).
