REPORT OF THE <br />COMMITTEF, ON PARKS & ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGF,MENT <br />DATE: November 18, 2003 RE: Comm. No. 401/Resolution 124-03 <br />PLACE: Councilroom <br />TIME: 1:15 p.m. <br />Chair and Members <br />Hawaii County Council <br />Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br />Your Committee on Parks and Environmental Management, to which was referred Communication No. 401, <br />with resolution 124-03, reports as follows: <br />Communication No. 401 is from Ivan Torigoe, Deputy Corporation Counsel, dated October 22, 2003, <br />transmitting Resolution No. 124-03 for the Council's review and consideration. A friendly amendment from <br />Council Member .I. Curtis Tyler. I11, added language to include a thank you letter to W.H. Shipman, Limited. <br />Resolution 124-03, Draft 2, incorporates the additional language and accepts the dedication of I .I 12 acres, <br />more or less, to the County of Hawaii for the Kea'au Community Center from W.H. Shipman, Limited. <br />This parcel is situated at Kea'au, District of Puna, County and State of Hawaii and identitied by Tax Map <br />Key (3)I-6-143-41. <br />Pat Engelhard.
