No. 430/Bill No. 193 <br />Council Chair and Members <br />Hawaii County Council <br />Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 193, repons as follows: <br />Bill No. 193, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 430, dated <br />December I, ?003, amends Ordinance No. 03-90, as amended, the Capital Budget, ending June 30, ?004, by <br />adding the tbllowing project: <br />PUBLIC WORKS: <br />Puainako Street Extension Project - 110-399-5395.05 $700,000 <br />County Match <br />Funds for these projects shall be provided from general obligation bonds, capital projects, fund-fund balance <br />and/or other sources. <br />Funds will he for the County portion of the completion of the Puainako Street Extension Project including <br />additional right-of--way acquisition as requested by the State Department of Transportation. <br />During its discussion, Ben Ishii informed Your Committee that the Department of Public Works requested <br />reimbursement for the aforementioned project from the State Department of Transportation (DOT) by letter. "fo <br />date, Public Works has not received a reimbursement commitment from the DO'1.
