Communication 699 <br />Bill 299 <br />Page 2 <br />• The subject property is not within the Special Management Area. <br />The reclassification action is consistent with the Housing goals, objectives and/or <br />policies articulated in the Hawaii County General plan and the Hawaii State Plan by <br />developing additional housing opportunities for residents. <br />The LUPAG Designation for the area is Urban Expansion. This designation allows <br />for a mix of high density, medium density, low density, and industrial uses. <br />Surrounding uses are predominately a mix of Single and Multiple Family Residential, <br />Neighborhood Commercial, Agricultural and Open zoning.
