No. 260-04 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 260-04, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 260-04, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 363 by Director of Finance <br />William '1'akaha, via Communication No. 832, dated October 22, 2004, authorizes the Office of <br />the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation for <br />the Hawaii County Fire Department's Spine Board Equipment Purchase project. <br />The State of I Iawai'i Department of Transportation has authorized $10,163.20 towards the <br />I Iawai'i County Fire Department's Spine Board Equipment Purchase Project. These grant funds. <br />derived 1i~om federal funds provided under the National Highway Safety Act of 1966, will be <br />used to purchase fifty (50) radio translucent spine boards that will be distributed to the tire <br />stations island-wide.
