Hawaii 96720 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 263-04, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 263-04, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication <br />No. 839, dated October 27, 2004. authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of <br />more than one fiscal year for amulti-year lease for a copier. <br />Fhe Department of Finance-Accounts llivision wishes to enter into a tive-year lease agreement <br />for a copier. Funds would he budgeted in future tscal years to cover the anticipated costs. <br />Pursuant to Section 10-1 1, Hawaii County Charter, any contract, lease or other obligation <br />requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year must be approved by <br />resolution. <br />Some members of Your Committee requested a cost comparison between the old and the new <br />machine. Information is needed prior to the next Council meeting. <br />For informational purposes.
