<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 1998 U.S. OPEN SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS <br /> HILO, HAWAII <br /> <br /> <br /> PARADE OF ATHLETES/OPENING CEREMONIES <br /> The Parade of Athletes for the Junior and Senior Divisions will be held prior to the 14-15 & 16-17 Team <br /> Final Routine competition on Wednesday, July 15, 1998 at 1:30 p.m. All athletes from all clubs arc <br /> encouraged to participate. Dress for the parade is team warm-up suits or appropriate team uniform. <br /> <br /> J A traditional Hawaiian Royal Court, in costume, will be presented complete with Hawaiian music, dancers <br /> and singers. <br /> <br /> GELLING <br /> No Gelling is allowed in the restrooms, on the pool deck or in the spectator area. A designated gelling <br /> station will be available at the facility. We recommend that you gel prior to coming to the pool. <br /> <br /> OFFICIALS UNIFORM <br /> Officials will be wearing white tops and blue bottoms for all routine judging. <br /> PROGRAM <br /> We are inviting clubs to have photos included in the Official Program. Send black and white photos along <br /> with $25.00 per photo toSuc Ahlf by May 1, 1998. Label the back of each photo with Club Name, City. <br /> State. Athletes' Names, and Age Group. Photos will not be returned. <br /> <br /> CLUB BANNERS <br /> Club banners will be displayed in the facility by the meet organizing committee. By completing the Club <br /> Banner Form, a place will be reserved for your barmer. <br /> <br /> PHOTOS <br /> We will have a photographer oil hand to take photos of your club, individual, routine action shots and awards <br /> ceremonies. Check your registration packet for more details. <br /> CHAMPIONSHIP MERCHANDISE <br /> There will be Championship items available for purchase in addition to USSS items tluoughout the <br /> Championship. Craft booths with Hawaiian crafts will be displayed (see attached flyer). <br /> <br /> ROUTINE TAPES <br /> Routine tapes should be turned-in to the Sound Center Manager, at minimum, an hour prior to each event. <br /> All tapes must be clearly marked with Club name, Competitor names and Event. Limit of one routine per <br /> „ a~ <br /> tape. Music should be recorded at the start of the tape. Tapes will not be rewound by the Sound Center <br /> Manager after they are turned in. There will be specific times scheduled for timing of tapes: timing will be <br /> accommodated on a first come, first served basis.
