Mr. Robinson is a 42-year resident of Hawai'i who was previously the <br /> Executive Director of Hui Malama Ola Na 'Oiwi. From 1996 to 2001, he worked as a <br /> Recruitment Specialist for the Native Hawaiian Center of Excellence, John A. Burns <br /> School of Medicine. He worked as a Special and Legislative Assistant to U. S. Senator <br /> Daniel K. Akaka in Washington, DC from 1989 to 1995, and prior to that, worked as a <br /> Precinct Operations Specialist and Community Liaison for the State of Hawai'i. <br /> Mr. Robinson served as a member of the Hawai'i County Police Commission, the <br /> Ka 'Umeke Ka'eo Hawaiian Language Immersion Charter School, the Friends of 'lolani <br /> Palace, and the Hawai'i Primary Care Association. He states that he is a Democrat.
