COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 691 (~8 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND <br />FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, the 4th of July is a national celebration commemorating the adoption of the <br />Declaration of Independence in 1776; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Culture & Arts Division is sponsoring <br />apre-fireworks entertainment with local performers including the County of Hawaii Band; and <br />WHEREAS, the 4`h of July Fest is an alcohol-free and drug free event, which will be held on <br />July 4, 2008, from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Mo`oheau Park Bandstand in Downtown Hilo; and <br />WHEREAS, enhancing the overall event is the 2"d Annual Barbeque contest which will be <br />held in the parking lot area adjacent to the Mo`oheau Park Ball Field; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the <br />Department of Parks and Recreation, Culture and Arts Division to be used to help defray some of the <br />cost associated with the 4th of July Fest program; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $5,850 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $5,850 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5517.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $5,850 <br />Culture and Arts OCE <br />(4th of July Fest Program) <br />
