COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />689 08 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br />A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division has <br />requested funds to assist in the Annual Kalae Iki Baseball Clinic; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, University of Hawaii at Hilo, <br />Betty Kanuha Foundation and Gifford Foundation will be partnering to conduct the Annual <br />Kalae Baseball Clinic scheduled for July 18-20, 2008, at the Kailua Park Complex in Kona; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, twelve top-notch mainland college coaches will provide fundamental <br />training skills to youngsters island-wide; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated <br />to the Department of Parks & Recreation, Recreation Division to be used towards the Annual <br />Kalae Iki Baseball Clinic; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $2,500 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $2,500 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5507.21 Department of Parks & Recreation $2,500 <br />Recreation Div. -Class/Activ, Misc. Charg <br />(Kalae Iki Baseball Clinic) <br />
