Pavao, Manager RECEIVED <br /> rime-..-----' 91-1--r- BY <br /> SUBJECT: WATER AVAILABILITY DOte <br /> KALOKO MAUKA SUBDIVISION CountY Council;;-, <br /> TAX MAP KEY 7-3-024, 025. 026, 027, AND 028 <br /> <br /> <br /> This is in response to your memorandum of July 22, 1998. <br /> <br /> Please be informed that the subject subdivision was developed as an agricultural <br /> subdivision that did not require fire requirements. <br /> <br /> For your information, we are enclosing two (2) copies of the water system by plats <br /> <br /> for the Kaloko Mauka Subdivision. <br /> <br /> The following is in response to Paragraph 2 of the above-referenced memorandum: <br /> <br /> 1. There are no fire hydrants within the Kaloko Mauka Subdivision. <br /> <br /> 2. The existing water system consists of four (4), six (6), and eight (8)-inch <br /> waterlines, booster pumps, reservoirs, and pressure reducing valve units <br /> which extend to the top of the subdivision. Please refer to the enclosed <br /> plats for the extent of the water system and specific waterline sizes. <br /> <br /> 3. Lots located less than the 100-foot elevation from the over-flow elevation <br /> of any reservoir servicing that lot, and particularly the lots serviced by <br /> <br /> the highest reservoir site No. 8, do not have enough pressure for fire-flow <br /> requirements.
