No. 1213/Res. 640-08 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Ben Franklin Bldg, 2" d Floor <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> TIME: 3:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred <br /> Communication No. 1213, regarding Resolution 640-08, reports as follows: <br /> <br /> Resolution 640-08, transmitted by Assistant Corporation Counsel Gerald Takase via <br /> Communication No. 1213, dated April 25, 2008, Accepting the Dedication of Lots 8-13, B, and <br /> C, being Portions of Tax Map Keys: (3)2-2-034:067 and 104, Situate at Waiakea, District of <br /> South Hilo, County and State of Hawaii, from Trustees Allan K. Ikawa and Irma K. Ikawa. <br /> <br /> Trustees Allan K. Izawa and Irma K. Izawa is desirous of dedicating the subject lots, including <br /> all improvements as required by Ordinance No. 97-92, Section G, to the County of Hawaii. <br /> <br /> Article XIII, § 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council may accept gifts <br /> which include the dedication of land on behalf of the County of Hawaii. <br /> <br /> There was no testimony from members of the public regarding the proposed acceptance. <br /> <br /> Corporation Counsel Ivan Torigoe appeared before your committee.
