No. 1030 <br /> PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa <br /> 78-128 `Ehukai Street <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 1:57 p.m. <br /> <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 1030, reports as follows: <br /> <br /> Communication No. 1030, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated February 11, 2008, reappoints <br /> Ms. Tricia Malanka of Council District 7 to the County of Hawaii Board of Ethics. Ms. Malanka is <br /> a three-year resident of Hawaii, and is an independent contractor working as a realtor. From 1992 <br /> to 2005, she was a flight attendant for American Airlines. <br /> <br /> Ms. Malanka is a planning committee member of the Robert Lynn Sayre Foundation, and is a silent <br /> auction committee member of the Aloha Hawaiian Night. She states that she is a registered <br /> Democrat. Ms. Malanka was confirmed to this commission in January 2007, to serve the remainder <br /> of a vacant term that ends on December 31, 2007.
