No. 1080 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 10:43 a.m. <br /> <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 1080, reports as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> Comminacation No. 1080, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, dated <br /> March 6, 2008, authorizes the acceptance of donations from Mr. Donald R. Dietrich. <br /> <br /> Mr. Dietrich gracious donation of computer hardware, software, storage media, and a printer of <br /> an estimated value of $1,343.50, to the Department of Parks and Recreation Aquatics Division. <br /> <br /> Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council, on behalf of the <br /> County, may accept gifts or donations. <br /> <br /> Also, pursuant to Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162(c) Hawaii County Charter, the Council, <br /> on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property. Any donation or <br /> gift which does not fall within the capitalization procedures of the Department of Finance shall <br /> be submitted to the Council by letter for its approval. <br /> <br /> Letter(s) of appreciation will be sent to Mr. Donald R. Dietrich at 77-282 Hoomalu Road, <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96740-4446. <br /> Your Committee on Finance recommends the acceptance the donation from Mr. Donald R.
