No. 1112 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 1112, reports as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> Communication No. 1112, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated March 8, 2008, nominates <br /> Mr. Gary Yoshiyama of Council District 2, to the Hawaii County Merit Appeals Board. <br /> <br /> Mr. Yoshiyama is a 57 year resident of Hawaii, and worked as a union representative for HGEA <br /> and is currently a member of the County of Hawai`i's Liquor Adjudication Board. He formerly <br /> served as a member of the County of Hawai`i's Liquor Commission, the Workforce <br /> Development Board, and the Charter Commission. Mr. Yoshiyama states that he is a registered <br /> Democrat.
