J ' failing, the county government, in its zeal to suppress the only viable grass roots economy here, has in fact, become the outlaw. Conspicuously, the council and this administration behave as though there is just too much to uncover. What obviously happens when heavily armed men interdict great wealth in the absence of any overview from elected officials, is too damning to put down on record. On a philosophical level, I find it hilarious. Your actions in the past and I expect now, are indefensible. But because you are all trapped into your flawed and hollow drug war rhetoric, you have no choice but to dig a deeper hole for yourselves. In my opinion, most of you are so flagrant in your open disregard of your own constitution that it is not difficult to suspect that most of you somehow benefit directly, and dare I ponder, illegally, from this government lawlessness. I am confident that in time, history and a more perfect form of justice will affirm your actions as not only lawless, but truly detrimental to the people of the Hawaiian Islands. Your disobedience to your own laws has caused great harm to human life and our well being. You encroach on the human right to relate to all plants. You violate the right for people to grow a crop for their own survival. You invade the rights to privacy and freedom of religion and economy. You have greatly hobbled our ability to be a self reliant island community in very hazardous times. In essence, you have promoted an invasive program of taxation and selective enforcement to run amuck in the community and now you refuse to measure your result. You have demonstrated not just in this issue but others that you hold to a vision of progress that can only breed greed, corruption, dependency and pollution. And, worst of all, you're insistance to make people "law abiding" is carried out by the threat of violence and other devices by members of armed forces and their intrusive and dangerous flying machines. My theory, which I find great acceptence for throughout the island, is that the elected representatives and their appointed bureaucrats, oppress this community through cannabis eradication in order to impose enterprises closer to your interests and connections.
