<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> r McEpim fq" 9/4/98 <br /> <br /> County Council <br /> <br /> Our entire Society structure is predicated upon Economics and <br /> DRUGS are more Economics than, perhaps, most of us want to admit. <br /> If looked at closely it is easy to see that the present DRUG <br /> situation is financially beneficial to quite a few levels and <br /> trickles down to many more levels, giving many a platform on <br /> which to build a secure Economic future. <br /> <br /> It is time we seriously start THINKING. Not only about the <br /> failures of the DRUG LAWS, but also about the evils created by <br /> the laws themselves, that compound the present dilemma. We must <br /> admit that there are many on a few levels and a few on many <br /> levels that benefit by this inhuman confusion and will do <br /> anything and everything to keep their Economic levels intact. <br /> To start solving the DRUG problem we must start to service the <br /> cause. We have generations of Children who have grown up with no <br /> boundaries. We must start TEACHING them and more than D.A.R.E. is <br /> needed. It is time we give our POLICEMEN a different role in the <br /> education of our Children, perhaps DRIVERS EDUCATION. It is time <br /> we bring our MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS INTO THE SCHOOLS to teach them <br /> what the DRUGS of ALCOHOL, TOBACCO and all of the ILLEGAL DRUGS <br /> will do to their Brains and Bodies. TRUTH is needed and the truth <br /> is,the Children are just that Children and are not emotionally <br /> mature enough to understand or care about the ramifications of <br /> DRUG use and are not aware of how they are being used and set up <br /> to service the Effect and Economic greed, similar to what the <br /> TOBACCO industry did and is doing. <br /> So you can see LACK OF EDUCATION is in FIRST PLACE, with GREED a <br /> very close SECOND and in the SHOW position, in this HUMAN RACE <br /> CONTROL . <br /> DRUGS AND CONTROL, where the Bottom Line teaches us that our <br /> lives our secondary to the market, that it is Products and Profit <br /> not People. Is there something WRONG HERE ? <br /> We have but two choices. Leave it like it is and build more <br /> PRISONS or CHANGE THE LAWS AND EDUCATE. <br /> Many of us are anxious about the future and are tired of Politics <br /> as usual and are hungry for leadership and life-styles <br /> characterized by Human-centered VALUES.
