REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC WORKS AND PARKS <br /> DATE: January 6, 1998 RE: COMM. NO. 602 /RESOLUTION NO. 194 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 9:05 a.m. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks, to which was referred Communication No. 602 <br /> and Resolution No. 194, reports as follows: <br /> The purpose of Resolution No. 194 is to authorize the County, pursuant to Section 23-10 of the <br /> Hawaii County Code, and Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, to accept a <br /> dedication deed transmitting real property for road and drainage purposes from Sunstone Realty <br /> Partners LLC, a Hawaii limited liability company. The dedication deed is for a roadway lat and <br /> grant of easement within the Waiakea Heights Subdivision, formerly known as Ainawaiwai <br /> Subdivision, Tax Map Key (3) 2-4-37:074. <br /> Communication No. 602 is a Letter from Gerald Takase, Deputy Corporation Counsel, dated <br /> November 18, 1997, which transmits Resolution No. 194 to the County Council for its review <br /> and consideration. It also states that the dedication deed has been reviewed by the Department of <br /> Public Works, Department of Water Supply and the Planning Department, and all have <br /> recommended acceptance of the deed.
