REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC WORKS AND PARKS <br /> DATE: February 6, 1997 RE: COMM. NO. 108 <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 9:07 a.m. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks, to which was referred Communication No. 108, <br /> reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 108 is a letter from Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro dated January 10, 1997, <br /> which nominates Mc Jack A. Kondo, Mrs. Mabel W. De Silva, Mr. George H. Yamamoto, and <br /> Mrs. Denise B. Nakanishi to the Hawaii County Veterans Advisory Committee. Pursuant to <br /> Chapter 15, Article 7, Section 15-61, of the Hawaii County Code 1983, as amended, members of <br /> the Hawaii County Veterans Advisory Committee shall be appointed by the Mayor and <br /> confirmed by the Council of the County of Hawaii. <br /> Mr. Kondo, Mrs. De Silva and Mr. Yamamoto are nominated to serve terms which will end on <br /> December 31, 200]. Mrs. Nakanishi is nominated to fill the unexpired term of the vacated <br /> Special Forces Association position which will end on December 31, 1997. <br /> Mr. Yamamoto was present at the meeting.
