Arakaki <br /> Chair <br /> <br /> RE: Transfer of Funds <br /> <br /> This is to request your assistance in initiating a transfer of $5,000 for the Big Island <br /> Marathon (requested by the Big Island Marathon coordinators) and $2,500 for security <br /> fencing and cabling for Waiakea Uka Park (requested by the Police Department). The <br /> proposed transfer would be from the Council's Miscellaneous Contractual Services <br /> Account No. 010-101-5101.02-115. <br /> <br /> The Big Island Marathon funding was inadvertently excluded from the administration's <br /> budget. The security cabling/fencing for Waiakea Uka Park was requested by the Police <br /> Department to deter the reappearance of gangs in that area. <br /> <br /> Thank you for your attention to this matter. <br /> cc: Harry Takahashi, Finance Director <br />
