It is a brief but intense design
workshop in which stakeholders and interested citizens are invited to contribute ideas
during the earliest stages of design and planning.
There were two charrettes, the first held in March 2006 and the other in June
2006. In the first charrette, the public identified alternative growth scenarios and selected
a preferred scenario. In the second charrette, the public articulated desired principles to
provide details for preferred scenario.
WORKING GROUPS
Comprised of citizens and community stakeholders, the Working Groups met
monthly, from May 2006 — September 2006.
