No. <br /> CAREGIVER I&A SPECIALIST, SR-22 <br /> <br /> <br /> Minimum Qualification Requirements: <br /> <br /> Training and Experience: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to <br /> graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in social work, sociology, <br /> psychology, gerontology, counseling, public health, business administration, or a related field and (3) <br /> years of case management, program budgeting, grant writing, or planning, developing, directing, and <br /> evaluating programs with community organizations. <br /> <br /> License Requirement: Possession of a valid State of Hawaii driver's license (Class 3) or any <br /> other comparable valid driver's license. <br /> <br /> Knowledge of: Nature and process of aging; characteristics of older adults; the particular types <br /> of facilities, services, and special needs of older adults; community organizations and resources, <br /> pertaining to older adults; research and evaluation methods and techniques; grant writing; report writing; <br /> principles and practices of supervision. <br /> <br /> Ability to: Develop good working relationships with others; communicate effectively orally and <br /> in writing; prepare clear and concise reports; apply research and evaluation techniques to evaluate <br /> programs, activities, policies, and procedures; analyze facts and information; and identify alternatives <br /> for action; conduct caregiver training; perform case management services. <br /> <br /> Physical Requirements: Persons seeking appointment to positions in this class must meet the <br /> health and physical condition standards deemed necessary and proper for performance of the duties. <br /> <br /> Physical Effort Grouping: Light <br />
